Charlie Higson photoCHARLIE HIGSON is a highly successful writer and producer for TV, film and radio. He was co-creator of the influential comedy series THE FAST SHOW and has recently been working with long-term writing partner Paul Whitehouse on DOWN THE LINE, a satirical spoof phone-in show for Radio Four. Charlie is also a well-known novelist and his thrillers for adults include HAPPY NOW and KING OF THE ANTS.

The Young Bond novels are set in the 1930s and show how James's early adventures shape the man he is to become. The first book, SilverFin, was published in March 2005 to great critical acclaim. Since then, Young Bond has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame and the second novel, Blood Fever, published in January 2006 spent 11 weeks at the top of the UK children's bestsellers chart. Foreign language rights in the Young Bond novels have so so far been sold in 23 countries worldwide.
